Dec 21 Winter ID Camp

Description: The Randolph-Macon College December ID Camp is open to high school boys who are rising high school sophomores or older. The camp is designed to give players the opportunity to experience a college training environment as well as gain exposure to Randolph-Macon College.  The camp is open to the public, but only players who have a direct interest in being seen by the Randolph-Macon Coaching staff should register. Special Goalkeeper training will be offered.

Overview

Note: We are currently approved for a fully competitive camp with full competition allowed. If the state of VA is pushed back into Phase 2 and a fully competitive camp cannot occur, the event will be cancelled.

Due to current circumstances, only campers are permitted out at the facility and in the check-in line.  There are no spectators allowed for this camp.  This is not something we want to do but it is something that will make the management of the clinic much smoother due to COVID restrictions. Campers will need to be dropped off and then proceed to the check-in area with a mask on. Campers are allowed to drive themselves to camp. Parents who drive their campers should stay in the general area in the case of inclement weather.

Special Note: In the case of inclement weather camp will not be immediately cancelled, unless local conditions cause it to be cancelled. The schedule will be altered through time changes.  Please be sure to fill out accurate cell information in on the registration form so that we can update you with changes in real time.

What to Bring
  • Inflated soccer ball, soccer cleats, Indoor flat bottom shoes, shin-guards,
  • Own Water Bottle and enough water for the duration of camp. Will have a supply of bottled water if needed but this is an overflow supply.  All campers must bring an adequate amount of water to last the 3 hours of camp
  • Mask - All Campers must wear a mask during the check-in process and when they leave the facility at the conclusion of camp.
Winter ID Camp Forms

Please fill out the  RMC Visitor Contact Tracing Form All participants need to print/fill out by hand and bring to the first day of camp.Participants must present this form as a hard copy at check-in or they will not be able to participate.

Please fill out the RMC Acknowledgement Agreement for COVID-19. All participants need to print/fill out by hand and bring to the first day of camp. This form must be signed by a Parent or Legal Guardian. The Soccer Complex is on the West part of campus, across the railroad tracks. As you exit I-95 you will be traveling west on Route 54.  As you approach campus make a right on Henry Street.  Take Henry Street through the center of campus.  After you pass the one floor dorms on your right make a left on Smith Street.  Smith Street will bring you to the railroad tracks. Make a left so that the tracks are immediately on your right hand side then a quick right to cross the tracks.  You can park in the large auxiliary lot directly to your left and walk over to the soccer complex.  Please maintain 10 feet of social distancing at all times and wear a mask to check in.  Spectators are not permitted at the facility, please remain in your cars or leave the facility all together.  This will help us from a safety management standpoint.

Cancellation Policy

No refunds will be issued for participants who withdraw from camp once payment is received unless camp is totally cancelled due to last minute COVID restrictions or local weather conditions.  If camp is cancelled after payment is received due to COVID restrictions or local weather conditions, all money will be refunded minus a $10 transaction fee.

Inclement Weather Policy
In the event that the camp needs to be cancelled due to inclement weather all money will be refunded minus a $10 transaction fee.  In the case of inclement weather camp will not be cancelled unless the situation makes it absolutely impossible for us to run the event. Instead, the schedule will be altered through time changes.  Please be sure to fill out accurate cell information on the registration form so that we can update you with changes in real time.  Make sure you have opted in for SMS messaging for all cell phone numbers used in the registration process.
