Hybrid Soccer Camp

Description: The Hybrid Soccer Camp at Randolph-Macon is for Boys and Girls Ages 8 - 14. Camp runs Monday, June 26-Thursday June 29.  This is a full-day camp (9AM-3PM) from Monday to Wednesday, with Thursday being a half day ending at 12PM.  Our Hybrid Camp has a very strict cap which we cannot exceed due to space and the instruction we aim to provide.  Camp registration is first come first serve.  Once we reach our capacity camp registration will close.  Our Hybrid camp will feature a combination of Outdoor soccer and Futsal. The goal of the camp is to create a fun and competitive environment, focusing on technical work, small group tactics, and competitive group play.  Campers will enjoy top-notch instruction from highly qualified College, high school, youth coaches, and current college players.  The goal is to create a player-centric environment where the athletes can play freely and creatively, hopefully without a fear of failure.  Campers will be expected to bring their own lunch, water, an outdoor soccer ball, cleats, futsal-appropriate shoes, sunscreen, and a change of clothes.

Currently, masks are not required while playing indoors. The indoor mask policy is subject to change in accordance with VDH and Randolph-Macon Health Squad requirements. It is our hope that the current policy will remain in place and that no masks will be required when competing indoors. At this stage, spectators are not allowed. It is our hope that this will change for outdoor venues, but we are confident this policy this will not change for futsal activities.

Campers should be dropped off at 9AM at the Brock Center Field House and should arrive in flat bottom shoes or slides.  We will meet inside the Brock Center each morning.  There is a lot of construction going on.  The main Brock Center Parking lot should be used.  If the lot is full please park along the road that runs parallel to the train tracks or park across the tracks in the large auxillary lot.  If you park across the track you must walk your player across the tracks regardless of age.  We will collect lunches, go over the plan for the day, then take the players to the fields to start the day.  The official address for the main Brock lot is 400 North Center Street, Ashland Va 23005.  Pick up is outside the Brock Center at 3pm on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and at 12pm on Thursday.

From Route 54 turn on to Henry Street.  Make a right on to Henry Street if traveling West on 54 and a left on to Henry Street if traveling East on 54.  After you are on Henry street make your first left on to College Avenue.  Proceed to the railroad track but do not cross.  Make a right on to North Center Street.  The railroad tracks will now be on your left.  Follow North Center Street down the tracks and make your fourth right into the large Brock Center Parking lot.

Additional camp forms will be sent via email later this summer if required.  We do not expect additional forms to be needed.

For Hybrid Campers, a $100 non-refundable deposit is required to register (payment must be made online).  Full payment can be made upon registration but is due no later than May 15th.

Cancellation/Inclement Weather Policy: 

Elite Soccer Camps has a strict NO REFUND policy and no refunds (partial or full) will be issued under any circumstance.

In order to help protect your registration payment in the event you suffer an injury or sickness before or during the camp/clinic that prevents you from participating, we highly encourage you to consider purchasing Registration Saver, an AIG insurance product to cover your registration investment. This policy also covers your registration fee in case the event gets cancelled due to weather or if you are unable to attend due to weather.  This can be handled during or after registration but must take place at least two weeks prior to the camp/clinic start date. We suggest that this is done during registration. This will provide relief from our "No Refund Policy" should an issue occur. The cost of Registration Saver is 6% of the program cost ($21). There is no deductible for these policies.

In the case of local inclement weather camp will not be cancelled unless the situation makes it absolutely impossible for us to run the event. Instead, the schedule will be altered through time changes.
